Tour 1: Old Shanghai City Tour (4Hrs.)

Date: June 25, Time: 01:30 pm-5:30 pm

Highlights of the tour

Yuyuan Garden: Yuyuan Garden is one of the most famous classical gardens in China. It was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. In an area less than five acres, the garden demonstrates perfectly the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature - ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs.As a paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is a MUST for all visitors to Shanghai. 


City-God-Temple Bazaar:The well preserved old part of Shanghai, where cobbled streets are lined with traditional shops selling herbal medicines, handicrafts, Chinese tea and a variety of tantalizing snacks.




The Bund:One of Shanghais most recognizable destinations, the Bund is known for its impressive array of foreign concession-era Art Deco and neoclassical architecture, fusing both Western and Chinese characteristics.

Tour 2: Be a Shanghainees for Half a Day (4.5 Hrs. incl. Lunch) 

Date: June 26, TIME: 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Highlights of the tour: 

This morning, you will step into the true Shanghainees’ life; our tour starts with a visit to the People’s Square where local people do morning exercises such as playing Taichi, badminton or fan dancing. Then you will be guests to a new workers’ residential area. You will visit local families, kindergartens and the local food market. At the noon time, you will be invited to prepare lunch together with a local housewife in her own home.

Tour 3: New Shanghai Tour (4 Hrs.) 

Date: June 26, TIME: 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

Shanghai Center: Shanghai Center is the tallest building in China, and new landmark of Shanghai. It is 632 meters (2,073 feet) high with 121 floors. Shanghai Center boost the World's highest open observation deck with three levels to provide tourists and citizens with an ultimate visual experience of the city.



Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: Completed in 2000 and opened to the public in the same year, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center is the first kind in China showcasing a city’s development. Themed by "City, Human, Environment and Development", exhibiting the past, the present and the future of the development of the urban planning of Shanghai, the exhibition center is a significant window of the city. Mainly emphasizing the coming 20 year's city development planning, with the help of the comprehensive high technology demonstrations, the center is openly involving the public participation, providing a perfect platform for travelers and citizens to learn the official urban planning.

Tour 4: Chinese Gardens and Water Village Tour (Incl. Lunch)

Date: June 27, 30, TIME: 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Highlights of the tours:

Suzhou is regarded by the Chinese as “a paradise on Earth”, it is renowned for its classical Chinese gardens. Suzhou is also named by Marco Polo as the 

Venice in the Orient for its numerous rivers and canals.

Master of the Nets Garden is the smallest yet the most delicate landscape garden in Suzhou City. Being an elegant structure of a typical official's residence in the Qing Dynasty (1636-1911), master of the Nets Garden consists of a residential quarter and the garden proper. Inside the refined residential quarter, the halls are linked closely by a corridor. The garden, petite but substantial, is focused on a pond and decorated with plants, rocks, pavilions, and stone bridges.The garden is especially fancied by overseas visitors and is praised as the most ornate and intact private garden in Suzhou.




Zhouzhuang is one of the most popular waters town in China. This is a small ancient town where waterways thread their way through the flagstone streets and alleys.Hundreds of years of history, Chinese-ink-painting-like-scenery, traditional houses built on waterways and interesting folk customs are the unique scene of Zhouzhuang. A tour to Zhouzhuang is an exploration of its graceful scenery, unique-flavored foods as well as its simple and colorful folk-customs.

Tour 5: Shanghai Acrobatic Show: ERA-Intersection of Time 
Date: June 27, 29, TIME: 6:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Highlights of the show: 
As a multimillion-dollar stunning acrobatic extravaganza, the first of its kind in China, ERA is a multimedia odyssey whose inspiration is a direct result of the combination of traditional Chinese acrobatic arts and modern technology. Just like Shanghai, ERA evolves through a constant collision between the past and future.
ERA is a love story, yet it is also contemplation across the millennia, a fascination with that other dimension man has yet to conquer: time. ERA's acrobats are on a quest to find that tenuous point of balance, the intersection between X, Y and Z.Not only will the audience be amazed by the acrobats' control and precision, they will be enchanted by the world that is created through the use of multimedia, technology, lighting and sound effects, elaborate costumes, original live music and a lot more.
The show is held in the Circus World of Shanghai every night, from 19:30 pm-21:00 pm

Tour 6: Cultural Shanghai Tour (4 Hrs.) 

Date: June 28, TIME: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Highlights of the tour: 

Shanghai MuseumThe scope, depth and quality of its collections, and the striking architecture and use of modern technology make the Shanghai Museum one of the most famous museums in China. Shanghai Museum covers an area of 38,000 square meters. It is mainly a museum for ancient arts. At present the museum is pided into ten sections. These are: ancient Chinese bronzes, sculpture, ceramics, jades, seals, calligraphy, coin and currency, paintings, Ming and Qing-dynasty furniture, and crafts of China's national minorities. 


Xintiandi: Xintiandi is the renovated old Shikumen residential area situated in the center of old Shanghai. It is now a good blend between the modern and new buildings around and the old area, hence Shikumen Xintiandi. Xintiandi is the most ideal site for visitors to have a good view of the history, culture, and modern lifestyle of Shanghai. A visit to the Shikumen Open House Museum inside the Xintiandi will show you the traditional shikumen house as it was set up originally. On the top floor of the museum are exhibits portraying the development of Xintiandi.

● Published prices for optional tours include: English/Chinese speaking bilingual tourist guide service. Air-conditioned coach for ground travel, Entrance fees. Meals(If applicable).
● Reservation: Please reserve through the online registration system. On-site registration at the conference registration area will be subject to availability. 
● Group Size: Our published tour prices are based on the group size of 3 participants or more and are subject to change if participants are fewer than 3 in each group. We reserve the right of changing tour prices and/or canceling tour departures if participants are fewer than 3. In case a tourist chooses to cancel his/her tour reservation because of our price change, no cancellation charge will be occurred.
● Pricing Policy for Child: Child under 2 years old traveling with their parents pay 10% of tour cost, Child aged between 2-11 pay 70% of full fare, Child aged over 12 years old(inclusive)pay full fare.
● Cancellation Policy: Bookings for tours cancelled will incur a 20% cancellation fee. No refunds are available for cancellations received within 48 hours prior to the booking or for no-shows.
● Departure Points: Shanghai International Convention Center, the conference venue.
